The anticipated further rebound in trade surplus in the second half, coupled with other forms of capital inflows, points to continued upward pressure on the yuan.

China’s import growth came in lower than expected at 19.3 percent year-on-year (YoY) in June, compared with the upside surprise of 28.4 percent posted in May.

Meanwhile export growth moderated to 17.9 percent from 19.4 percent in May. As a result, the trade surplus widened to $22.3 billion in June, the highest in seven months, according to data released by the Customs Administration on Sunday.

The slowdown in June trade growth reflects slowing sequential momentum and a high year-earlier comparison – both for exports and imports. This is not surprising, as the recent decline in the PMI export orders and import indexes pointed to weaker external and domestic demand.

Taking into account the rise in import and export prices, the real import growth should have slumped to around 2 percent year-on-year (YoY) in June from 10 percent in May, and the export growth should have fallen to around 7 percent from 9 percent in May.

In particular, import volumes of most major commodities fell in June, while YoY import price growth remains elevated by our estimates. Crude oil declined 11.5 percent compared with an increase of 20.8 percent in May, steel products were down 18.4 percent versus a decline of 5.9 percent in May, and copper imports fell 14.7 percent versus a drop of 35.8 percent, and aluminum imports fell 13.5 percent versus a decline of 20.8 percent.

The trade surplus stood at $44.9 billion in the first half of 2011, down 18.2 percent from a year ago. It is worth noting that the surplus from processing trade surged to $164 billion in the first half, three times that of the overall trade surplus, and up 19.8 percent YoY.

Barclays maintains its forecast of full-year export growth of around 20 percent and full-year import growth of 23 percent. An expected stabilization in export growth, combined with slowing import growth, suggests a further rebound in the trade surplus in the second half to $130 billion. This, together with other forms of capital inflows, points to continued upward pressure on the yuan against the US dollar in the second half.

Despite challenges from rising labor costs, yuan appreciation and tight credit conditions, the contribution to total trade by small and medium-sized private enterprises (SMEs) increased in the first half, outperforming SOEs and foreign-invested enterprises.

Total imports and exports by SMEs accounted for 27 percent of the nation’s total in the first half, and the sector’s growth of 38.8 percent exceeded the 25.8 percent growth for the country’s overall trade. Also, exports of labor-intensive sectors continued to grow at a relatively fast pace – eg, textile products rose 29 percent, clothing increased 24 percent, and suitcases were up 39.2 percent.

These figures were in line with some anecdotal evidence, which suggested that many SMEs/exporters have managed to survive the challenging environment, thanks to their relatively smaller scale and flexible business models. These figures may help alleviate concerns over the “closure of factories and surge in unemployment”, and hence, are supportive of further gradual yuan appreciation.

The customs general administration released figures showing, this year 1-in May, China’s textile and apparel exports total 88.835 billion us dollars, up 26.55%. From the sales amount look, textile and apparel exports appeared some atrophy symptom. From the month of may, textile and apparel exports 20.338 billion us dollars, up 23.77%, the rate of growth of 33.53% compared to the same period last year, a drop of 9.76% in the first four months rate slowed sharply. Annulus comparing data to see from in May, textile and apparel exports $20.338 billion, a month-on-month rose by only 2.33% in April. In addition to export situation is not optimistic, and the domestic consumption is not temperature is not fire and textile clothing industry facing huge pressure, small and medium-sized enterprise effects of restricting output production phenomenon also is very common.

HONG KONG – Homegrown Chinese sport brand Li Ning Co Ltd said it expected to see its revenues decline 5 percent in the first half of 2011 from a year ago as it moves to revamp distribution channels.

In a filing to the Hong Kong bourse on Thursday, it said same-store sales growth maintained a low single-digit pace from January to June, with the total number of Li-Ning brand stores at 8,163. It did not give comparison figures.

Li Ning said its gross profit margin was expected to decline by 1 percentage point due to a new wholesale discount policy and increases in raw material costs.

Profit margin attributable to shareholders is expected to decline to 6-7 percent in the first half from 12.9 percent a year ago, it said.

Due to expected significant increases in raw material costs in the second half of 2011, Li Ning forecast gross profit margin for the period would decrease from last year.

Profit margin attributable to shareholders for the full year 2011 is expected to decline by about 1-2 percentage points compared with the first half, it added.

Li Ning also said order value for the fourth quarter of 2011 rose more than 5 percent year on year, though order volumes declined at a high single-digit rate. Average retail prices for apparel and footwear products increased over 10 percent.

Shares of Li Ning are down 16.9 percent so far this year, against a 2.2 percent fall in the benchmark Hang Seng Index.

According to the latest statistics released by China´s National Bureau of Statistics, the CPI in May rose 5.5 percent year-on-year, which hit the record high level over the past 34 months.

Day by day, the adverse influence of inflation to China textile industry is emerging. Many textile mills believed that the current situation is even worse than the year 2008 when the economic meltdown began. International market demand waned suddenly in 2008 causing severe orders plunge. Contemporary situation is quite the opposite, orders are not that inadequate, but the inflation has to a large extent cornered the profit margin. Get the orders and satisfy the customers, then deficit is inevitable, for a great number of companies. Impacted recently by China´s frequent natural disasters, inflationary expectations ascended against all the policies issued by the government. Presumably, many believed that the situation won´t see a radical change in a short period of time.

The continuous appreciation of RMB to US dollar puts extra burdens to many textile mills. Expected appreciation of RMB has noticeably shortened the trade cycle and put potential risks to trade business with offshore companies. Currently, only a very limited number of raw materials imported could benefit from the RMB appreciation. For most of the small-and-medium-sized enterprises, inflation and the appreciation of RMB bring forward two adversities for China textile industry: inflation encroaches on the profit margin and the RMB appreciation lowers down the competitive edge of domestic products.

Many professionals believed that the aforementioned two disadvantageous factors won´t fade out soon this year. On the contrary, there is high possibility that the situation could exacerbate leaving textile companies no alternative but pacing up the adjustment.

STOCKHOLM – Swedish textile firm OrganoClick has developed two new fabric finishing treatments that the company hopes will help reduce the amount of environmentally harmful and toxic chemicals used in the textile industry.

The two products are OrganoTex; a modification technology based on biodegradable constituents conferring highly water repellent properties to cellulose-based textiles (e.g. cotton, linen, and viscose) and OC-biobinder; a biopolymer-based binder used for improving mechanical properties to nonwoven and coated textiles.

The water repellent properties of OrganoTex are said to mimic natural processes occurring in plants, thereby allowing a process entirely free of substances such as fluorocarbons, isocyanates and formaldehyde, known to have either severe effect on aquatic eco-systems or being highly toxic.

The OrganoTex modification technology has been designed to enable cellulosic fibres to covalently bind to a unique bio-additive, developed by OrganoClick AB. The bio-additive is biodegradable and still confers excellent and durable water repellent properties to textile products during their normal lifetime.

OC-biobinder is a new binding system used for improving certain mechanical properties, such as stiffness or strength, to cellulose-based nonwoven or coated textiles. According to Mårten Hellberg, CEO at OrganoClick, the binders currently in use are mainly made of petroleum based substances. OC-biobinder is composed completely of renewable substances that are non-toxic for humans and are biologically degradable.

“The textile processing industry has for many years relied on chemicals that are very effective, but on the other hand are often not degradable in nature and even may cause severe effects on eco-systems or on human health,”Hellberg said.“As customers are starting to realize this problem, we believe that our new products have a tremendous potential for textile manufacturers or textile product brands desiring to combine sustainable and organic textiles with functionality.”

Founded in 2006, OrganoClick AB is a spin-off company from Stockholm University and the University of Agricultural Science in Uppsala, Sweden. OrganoClick AB develops and manufactures bio-fibre materials and chemical products with highly specialized functions using its proprietary OrganoClick technology platform for modification of bio-fibres.

Global focus on Chinese luxury consumption: in June 2011, with the famous brand Samsonite suitcases and the top Italian brand in the Hong Kong stock exchange will Prada IPO, the region, especially in the greater China region, has become a global luxury market focus.

We think that, more and more international luxury brand will Hong Kong exchange listed as first choice, in addition to high valuations premium outside, the greater China region, especially China eye-catching luxury consumption growth is more important reason. Chinese luxury consumption is “crazy” : the euros, in 2010, the Chinese mainland luxury consumption year-on-year growth of 30%, far faster than in Asia Pacific and the rate of growth of 12% and 23% of the world, China has become a global luxury consumption growth engine. Chinese luxury consumption has the following features: (1) male consumption is given priority to, women consumption level continuously improve; (2) domestic consumption growth faster than consumption abroad; (3) new consumption is the main crowd growth.

High-end consumer groups support Chinese luxury consumption growth, we think that promote China’s luxury consumption the fast growth the main reasons are: (1) China’s economy continued to 20 years of rapid growth is the most fundamental reasons; (2) high-end consumption crowd rapid growth is the most solid support strength; (3) travel outside the continued growth of the our country also led to one of the important forces luxury consumption; (4) public consumption, business gift with Chinese characteristics such as the consumption in China also constitute the most solid strength of luxury consumption. Two kinds of companies will benefit: we think, the following two types of company will from China’s fast growing luxury consumption: (1) local benefit of growing steadily luxury brands, such as ordos, Europe BaiLanNu, XiangYunSha, etc.; (2) foreign luxury brand agent, such as luo lai home textile, seven Wolf, good news to birds, etc. Tips: if the risk domestic economy slows significantly appear, might be the impact of China’s luxury consumption.

ZURICH, Switzerland — May 25, 2011 — Following a strong investment boom that reached its peak in 2007 shipments of new textile machinery were in strong decline afterwards aggravated by the global financial and economic crisis of 2008/2009. But in 2010 global shipments of new textile machinery recorded a very strong up-swing. In comparison with 2009 global shipments of new spinning machinery jumped by +75% (short-staple spindles), +163% (long-staple spindles) and +212% (open-end rotors), of texturing spindles by +132%, of weaving machinery (shuttle-less looms) by +146%, of large circular knitting machines by +36% and of electronic flat knitting machines by +187%. In almost all segments even new record levels were reached.

These are the main results of the 33rd annual International Textile Machinery Shipment Statistics (ITMSS) just released by the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF). The report covers six types of textile machinery, namely spinning, texturing, weaving, large circular knitting, flat knitting and finishing machinery. The 2010 survey has been compiled in cooperation with some 115 textile machinery manufacturers, representing a comprehensive measure of world production.

Spinning Machinery

Following a considerable drops in shipments of short-staple spindles in 2008 (-33%) and 2009 (-17%) shipments rose in 2010 by +75% to 12.5 million spindles. This came close to last record year of 2007 when 12.8 million had been shipped. By far the largest part of this new machinery was destined for Asia (11.9 million or 96%). China absorbed 7.9 million or 63% of global shipments, followed by India (2.4 million or 19%), Indonesia (500,000 or 4%), Bangladesh 400,000 or 3.2%) and Turkey (300,000 or 2.4%).

Global shipments of long-staple (wool-) spindles increased in 2010 by +163% to 84,000. Shipments to Asia jumped by +99% to 33,400, to Europe (incl. Turkey) by +263% to 38,400 and to South America by +139% to 11,000. Unlike in 2009 there were shipments to North America in 2010 (1,150). Like in 2009 Africa did not receive any long-staple (wool-) spindles in 2010.

Investments in open-end rotors jumped in 2010 by +212% to 450,000 after they plummeted in 2008 by -66% to 195,650 and in 2009 by -26% to merely 144,500. With 374,000 rotors or 83% Asia was once more the main recipient of open-end rotors in 2010. China’s global share reached 72% (323,000) followed by Brazil as a distant second with 5.5% (24,800), India with 5.5% (24,600), USA with 4.7% (21,100) and Turkey with 2.3% (10,400).

Texturing Machinery

Shipments of single heater draw-texturing spindles (for polyamide filaments) soared in 2010 from merely 2,880 to 63,240, an increase of +2,095%. China was the largest investor in this type of machinery with a global share of 71% (44,700 spindles) followed by Brazil (21% or 13,500), Belarus (3,000 or 4.7%) and Taiwan (1,728 or 2.7%).

The amount of shipped double heater draw-texturing spindles (for polyester filament) sky-rocketed from 248,000 to 518,000, an increase of +109%. This amount surpassed by large margin the old record highs of 2004 (406,000) and 2005 (315,000). By far the biggest and all-dominating investor was again China with 365,000 new spindles or 71% of global investment followed by India with 54,000 or 10%, Vietnam with 20,600 or 4%, Thailand with 13,200 or 2.5%, Japan with 12,200 or 2.4%, Turkey with 7,000 or 1.4% and Brazil with 6,200 or 1.2%.

Weaving Machinery

After having recorded the lowest amount of shipped shuttle-less looms in 2009 (43,400) since the year 2000 when shipments of Chinese textile machinery manufacturers were included for the first time in this survey, worldwide investments in shuttle-less looms jumped in 2010 by +146% to a new record of 107,000 machines. While in the segment of rapier/projectile looms decreased by -32% to 16,000 machines, the segment of air-jet looms jumped by +110% to 17,700 machines and the segment of water-jet looms skyrocketed by +537% to 73,300 machines. This significant increase in shipments of shuttle-less looms was the result of both more investments as well as more reporting companies. 97% of all machines were destined for Asia. Country-wise China was again by far the biggest recipient of shuttle-less looms having installed 89,400 or 84% of total shipments in 2010. Of the total amount 6,800 machines were rapier/projectile looms (-31% compared to 2009), 12,900 air-jet looms (+112%) and 69,700 water-jet looms (+617%). With 5,400 shuttle-less looms or 5% market share, India was distant second, followed by Indonesia with 2,400 or 2.2%, Bangladesh with 2,300 or 2.1% and Korea with 1,000 or 0.9%.

Circular & Flat Knitting Machinery

The segment of circular knitting machines recorded an increase of +36% to 34,500 in comparison to 2009. This marked the highest investment level since the year 2000. The previous record of 30,500 was recorded in 2005. With 92% Asia was the preferred region of investments in circular knitting machines. Like in the other segments the biggest investor in this type of knitting machinery was China with 26,400 or 77% of global shipments. India was the second biggest investor in 2010 with 1,370 machines or 4.0% of global shipments followed by Bangladesh with 1,330 machines or 3.8%, Turkey with 1,000 or 2.9% and Brazil with 860 or 2.5%.

In the segment of electronic flat knitting machines, global shipments in 2010 jumped by +187% to 51,130. This jump in shipments has two main reasons: first, a booming Chinese market and second, more textile machinery companies participating in the survey. The bulk of shipments went to Asia (94%) with Europe (incl. Turkey) absorbing 3.9%. Once more China was the biggest single investor in electronic flat knitting machines investing in 37,800 machines (74%) followed by Bangladesh 4,960 (9.7%), Hong Kong with 2,760 (5.4%), Turkey with 1,350 (2.6%) and Cambodia with 790 (1,5%).

Finishing Machinery

The 2010 edition of the ITMF international textile machinery shipment statistics includes for the sixth time also data on finishing machinery.

Why Not Renting Wedding Dresses

Renting Wedding Dress Become Popular

When preparing for a huge once-in-a-lifetime event such as your wedding, you’ll most likely book a special location for it; some of you may even hire a limo or go all out with a horse and carriage for transportation. But if you’re serious about trimming your wedding budget, you can always look into more family-owned venues for your reception, or style your own car for the occasion.

Beyond that, you can also save some bucks by renting everything else for your event. From the usual groom’s and men’s tuxes, you can go further by renting gown as well as the entire bridal party’s outfits. To add that final touch, the women can sign out jewelry as well, just for that one time. And don’t forget the wedding cake?

There is no doubt that your wedding dress will be one of the most expensive items in your wedding. In fact, you can save a fortune if you are going to rent the wedding gown. Renting a gown is also considered environmental friendly. However, renting a wedding gown is not the same as buying a new one because you have to return it after your wedding. In order to prevent unnecessary arguments with the bridal shop or the wedding dress shop, you should bear the following points in mind.

Reasons not to rent your dress Common arguments against renting a wedding dress include the fact that it’s not yours, someone else has already spent their special day in it. While that is true, what about the groom and his groomsmen? Most of the male participants in a wedding will rent their suits rather than buy them. If it’s good for the boys, it must be good for the girls as well! Like a rented suit, your rented wedding dress will have been thoroughly dry-cleaned and will be in good condition. There is nothing to be afraid of in terms of cleanliness. Other brides take a sentimental argument – the dress will be a special reminder of your wedding day and you may one day be able to pass it to your daughter. The likely scenario is that fashions will have moved on by the time your daughter gets married, and she may not want to wear your dress. As for memories, what about that expensive photographer you’ve got booked?

Renting will save you money The difference in cost between renting a wedding dress and buying your own (or having one made for you) can be staggering. Conservatively, a designer wedding dress could set you back $2500, while renting a wedding dress may cost you less then $250. The difference can be used to put towards a more extravagant honeymoon, or even towards a house deposit.

Modal Towel to Touch Like Your Second Face

Chinese new year is coming and I bet every Chinese would like to collect new and exquisite household items to make your everyday life more comfortable and to start the 2009 with fresh feelings.

Today I wanna talk about the towels, the important items that we would touch everyday. So a great towel may give a great touch feeling and nice mood. Since towel is also the items that we would frequently replaced for the sake of healthy reasons, so new year would be the best time to buy youself a new Modal towel set.

I’m sure many of you have already heard about MODAL, but a surprising number of people have told me that they do not know what it is. Modal® is a bio-based fiber made by spinning reconstituted cellulose from beech trees. It is about 50% more hygroscopic, or water-absorbent, per unit volume than cotton is. It is designed to dye just like cotton, and is color-fast when washed in warm water.

In general, Model is a super soft, light, silky fabric that is made of 100% cellulose, extracted from the beechwood tree. Not only does the fabric have the benefits of being 100% natural, and therefore exempt from objections involving the synthetic textile industry (well, casting deforestation aside, I suppose…but I have witnessed the effects of a nearby DuPont plant while an undergrad at UVa…it ain’t pretty), but the fabirc has the added quality of wicking away sweat from the body – night/cold sweats are a thing of the past. Additionally, it supposedly stands up to repeated harsh washings and dryings better than other fabrics. There’s nothing better than the feeling of climbing into bed on a hot summer night into a cool set of silky sheets that comfortably cling to your body…and they’re great for the winter too.
Many people would never consider anything but white bath towel. White towels are classic, they remind us of our favorite spa or hotel, they evoke a clean and tranquil feeling. I personally love white bath towels too, since it’s not been dyed with color, more natural and clean. So a Model white bath towel set or face towel would be on my purchasing list. I will compare the prices between online C2C site like Taobao.com (This great C2C site only can be used in China, oh oh oh) and the surpemarkets, and I probably would buy towels on line instead of surpermakets. Oh, I’m a crazy online purchaser, a wise and brilliant one anyway.

How to Save On Your Wedding Cost

How to Save On Your Wedding Cost

In this terrible time of financial uncertainty, wheather you are directly influenced by this crisis or are still intact, you should be more careful about your cash flow from now on.

Since young people still have to get married, you have to give a good thought about how to save money and have a budget but still perfect wedding.

Budget wedding starts from renting a wedding dress. Renting is less expensive than buying. Men have been renting tuxedos for years, why not wedding dress rental for women? This isn’t as far fetched as it may sound. In addition to buying a wedding dress, most brides have to contend with preserving and storing the wedding dress. With a wedding dress rental, all the bride has to do is choose the dress, wear it, and return in within the allotted time period. She doesn’t even have to worry about the dry cleaning.

With careful planning, costs can be kept under control and a stylish wedding achieved for a fraction of this figure. Here are some more tips.

1. Rings
Ask yourself if you really need to spend thousands on something some people lose or which wears out and becomes unusable.

2. Food
Think about making the food yourself, or at least the puddings and starters. Ask at local catering colleges if they provide a service; you might still get quality but at half the price. Alternatively, ask everyone to bring a dish!
The wedding cake neednÂ’t be expensive either. Think about making it yourself, or go for a simple sponge. A current trend is to serve small individual ‘cup-cakesÂ’, which aren’t expensive but still look nice.

3. Photography
If you do go for a professional photographer, ensure youÂ’re certain of the number and type of prints you want and ask yourself how many you really need.
Alternatively, ask a friend who has an interest in photography, but make sure they have a good camera.

4. Honeymoon
Do you really need a villa in the Seychelles with every conceivable luxury? Honeymoons can add thousands to wedding costs. Think of hiring a romantic cottage somewhere in the UK instead. Or take advantage of low-cost flights to a European city and try to negotiate a good hotel deal (especially if you intend to go out of high season).
Alternatively, ask around among friends and family and see if anyone has a second home you could borrow, or at least rent cheaply, in the UK or abroad.

Bargain, bargain, bargain. You can negotiate for everything, from flowers to the band to the venue. Katie says she got a deal on her dress and the bridesmaid dresses by purchasing them from the same shop. Cut back on things that guests won’t notice. Carley suggests eliminating a couple of courses from the dinner, limiting the bar by featuring a special cocktail, or only buying flowers that are in season. Don’t lose sight of the purpose. The wedding is to celebrate your relationship, so focus on creating a memorable time as opposed to simply a lavish one.

Some people would never take the idea of buying clothing online, because they think clothing should be tried before you know if you fit it or not.

But I don’t think so, I began buying clothes online from 3 monthes ago. And most time I spent less money and bought quality clothes that I love very much. It all depents on the sellers’ quality. Great people won’t sell bad clothes online.

Recently, however, I have a bad experience, the clothes I bought is far away from my imagination. It’s not that I’m too crictic, it’s the description that don’t concord with the actural quatlity of the clothes. The fabric is just so-so, and the down clothes even have feathers leak out.

SO I asked about the seller why she said in the description that this is top-quality and with customer provided quality fabric and it would cost 2000 RMB in the malls.

Finally, I succeed in sending the goods back, but not getting my money back until now. I wish they won’t turn any tricks on me. I will never come to their shop again, and this experience teach me more about online shopping and I would do better from now on.

I would call myself a crazy online buyer.:) But I’m not at all lose my mind. I buy the stuff that really worth to buy and not regret any of my online purchasing experience ever.

The same clothing that in the malls and onlines should be varied greatly in the price, so why not pick the cheap yet with the same quality. It requires a little enegy to pick out the good online store anyway since there is certainly many liars out there onlline.

You need to know your body size well to buy suitable clothing online. No blind buying Pants is the hardest to buy, but I have been sucessuful in buying one nice boot cut pants, so it greatly boots my enthusiasm to online shopping.

Up to now, my online shopping clothing experience has been very sucessful and I was more and more loving this way of lifestyle.

Women Boots Price is Getting Crazy

Despite the worldwide fanantial crisis, in China, I find many apparel price has increased greatly, including the women boots. The price may make me stare my eyes out, it is way out of my boundage.

I’m not that poor and not rich either. That’s too say, the boot price is way out of reach for us general office ladies. Is it too crazy to buy a pair of shoes that cost you half a month salary?

I think it’s totally crazy. The thing is, I don’t find any improvement or any better items than 2007, but the price with nearly the same boot has increased in such a unbelievable degree.

I still got a hope that the price may be a little down when the chinese new year is coming and that’s mean spring is yet to come. Will they make some real cancel in the price or just doing some trick to attract you there and trick you to buy some horribly pricy goods that is way out of their original value.

Women love boot cut pants, but it requres a long and slim leg shape to wear it beautifully.

Otherwise, it may manigfy your disadvantage, making you seem more fat. I’m luck to have a nice shaped leg, so I bought myself a Moussy Boot cut pants. I love this brand, it’s pants shape are great and cozy.

Boot cut pants are suitable to fit in nice boots and casual shoes, it makes your leg seem slim and pretty. But in the winter, if you only wear an pants, not with any warm items inside, your leg would catch cold The boot cut pants won’t allow you to insert any heavey side item in, or it will become too fat and tight.

But I have figure out a good idea, that is to buy an nice kee protector to wear because kee is very important and need us to protect it well.

Womens’ hands is her second face, so we need to protect it well and carefully.

For a larger part of people, we mainly buy gloves for practical purpose, which is to keep our hands dry and warm? Most times, we would choose thick cotton or leather ones. When I know that I will be work outside for an extended period of time in the cold, I try to stock up on hand warmers. They are placed inside your gloves and are pretty effective. You could even place them inside the pockets of your jackets for some added boost of heat. You won’t be sorry. Sometimes, I just pick one pair of mundane work gloves because my work requries it.

Wedding Ceremony is one of the best moments in your life. So it’s extremely important that you make it as perfect as possible. You need to gain some knowledge first about the latest wedding trends before starting your own wedding. Based on many previous learning, you will have large chance of planning a wedding just for you, targeted to your own personality and flavor. Remember, the wedding plan is not just the business for the wedding planer organization. You need to be creative too.

For those people who are going to attend a wedding, how to choose a most suitable gift is a big issue and sometimes a headache. The wedding gifts, if with some personality, would be much better, makes the brides and bridegroom feel that you have really dedicated into this gift, it’s specially prepared for them.

Wedding go green

As everyone continues to go green, wedding favors do the same. If you are looking for eco-friendly favors, consider flower seeds, mini potted plants or even bird’s nests.

Many wedding traditions and trends have changed along with wedding fashions. Though wedding trends may come and go, many items like reception favors and the use of calligraphy remain constants.

Couples that are tying the knot in 2008 are doing their best to be part of the environmental green movement by serving organic foods at their weddings and brides are carrying organic flowers, using recycled paper products, and serving organic foods at the reception. Today’s bride and groom are holding showers and receptions at unconventional sites such as homeless shelters as well as donating to charitable causes instead of receiving gifts.

Organic brides can choose wedding dresses made from sustainable materials such as Hemp, reuse a wedding dress, or make a wedding dress from eco-friendly materials. Green weddings will play a big part in weddings for 2008.

Why not choose a personalized Cake towel

Cake towel is practical and yet full of personality; so despite of the price, which is a bit higher than traditional wedding gifts, people still prefer it as cute and romantic wedding gifts for the once a lifetime occasion.

Currently, towels sold as, for instance, a gift are folded in various manner and arranged in a storage box, and the top side of the storage box is covered with a transparent film, so that the customers can see the arranged towel(s) inside the box through the film, thus drawing the attention of the customers and increase the customer’s desire to purchase. Among these, with the focus on characteristics such as the towel’s texture, thickness, and flexibility, some towels are formed into animals and dolls by way of attaching the towel cloth by sewing or fastening with a pin or the like, thus being offered exclusively as decorations.

In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for cake-shaped decorative accessories using a towel cloth as a gift or present, and there has been a demand for other types of decorative accessories that have a cake shape. Cushion cover that with China Embroidery Art – Cross-stitch is also a hot choice.

Traditional wedding gifts such as chocolate gifts are so common that people want to add some personality and uniqueness to their wedding gift; cake towel seems to be a perfect choice.

We love it!

Chiffon’s biggest USP is the way it clings to the curves of the wearer and it is, in my opinion the perfect foil for our naturally curvy figures. I am talking real women here, size 10 upwards. Namita Manek, 30, a businesswoman buys sarees only in chiffon. She says,” In my opinion there’s no fabric like chiffon to hide your body flaws and play up its best points. Especially chiffon sarees. I love my chiffon sarees with sequins and beads, they are downright glamorous and the colours are so pretty.”

Tripti Ganatra, 25, an upcoming trousseau specialist, agrees with Namita, “I am into the business of putting together trousseaus for young brides and when I am planning the trousseaus I have seen that chiffons are a must-have. I am told to get sarees, lehengas, salwars and even western outfits in chiffon. For functions like the pre-wedding cocktail parties, chiffons with heavy embroidery are hot favourites.”

What’s chiffon all about?

You could learn some Basic Information about Chiffon Fabric in my previous article.
Chiffon is an artificial fabric created out of cotton or silk. It can also be created out of synthetic fibres. The best part about chiffon is that it can be dyed in any colour. Which is why you see chiffons in such beautiful shades. Though people prefer chiffons with lots of embroidery and threadwork, it is very difficult to get this done because of the slippery nature of the fabric. If you ask me, plain chiffons look the best.”

Ajanta Sahani, boutique owner, finds chiffon salwar kameezes the fastest moving item in her store, “Whatever the season, I always have customers coming in and asking for chiffon outfits. I love chiffon. I am also very nostalgic about this fabric, as my mom, who is no more now, would wear only chiffon sarees and that too plain. She had them in all the colours possible and she would wear stunning accessories with it. I have never seen a more elegantly dressed woman than my mom. In fact, even people who didn’t know her, knew her as the woman in chiffons.”

So it looks like, chiffons will never really go out of wardrobes in India, age no bar!

Not only in india, chiffon is a fashion fabric around the world now. Women love this fabric expecially during summer time.
