MTC (Yangzhou Maxi-CUBE Tong Composite Co., Ltd. ) has been manufacturing composite panels since 1996 and is 80% owned by Australia's largest road transport trailer manufacturer, MaxiTRANS Industries Ltd (www.maxitrans.com). It was the first company to start producing fiberglass composites in China and remains China's largest manufacturer of such products and a major supplier of truck bodies to many leading companies including China Post.

In December 2013, MTC relocated to an all new and larger factory in the Weiyang Development Zone, Yangzhou. The new plant covers an area of over 53, 000 square meters, of which the current building area is 18, 000 square meters. Current production capacity is 600, 000 square meters of composite panels.

MTC's new factory incorporates advanced equipment and technology from America, Australia and Sweden for the production of refrigerated and insulated composite panels as well as dry freight composite panels. It mainly uses fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP/GRP) as the product surfaces combined with a choice of polyurethane foam, XPS foam, waterproof phenolic plywood and plastic honeycomb panels as the core - all bonded using processes developed by MTC since 1996.

MTC also has the capacity to manufacture composite panels using full size aluminum and stainless steel sheet as surface sheets and can produce coloured composite panels in accordance with customers' requirements. The internationally patented manufacturing technology produces panels with high structural strength, good sealing performance and easy installation.

Being China's largest producer of FRP/GRP panels and also a significant exporter, MTC is naturally certified to quality standard ISO9001: 2008. Quality control is a major focus of our complete operation, with four quality supervisors and 22 engineers and managers out of 130 employees. Being Australian owned, MTC is very familiar with the quality standards demanded by export customers.

To date more than 100 truck body builders from over 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China have utilised MTC composite panels to build high-grade dry freight truck bodies, refrigerated and insulated truck bodies and special vehicles. MTC's coloured composite truck body panels can be seen across China in large fleets such as China Post (green), SF (black) and Deppon Express (blue). In fact, China Post has over 10, 000 truck bodies manufactured by MTC. Additionally, our products have been exported to more than 20 countries and regions such as Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, America, England, France, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
